This Privacy Policy applies to:

It applies only to HumanIn.Ai and does not cover third-party services that you may connect to through workflows.

2.4 Information Collected Through the Butter Browser Extension

Butter by HumanIn.Ai is a Chrome extension that opens a side panel beside the web page you have open. When you send Butter a message with the panel open, we collect, from the page the panel is beside:

• The readable text of the page
• The names and values of the page’s controls (fields, buttons, links and menus)
• The page’s address and title
• Your message, and the actions Butter takes on the page in response

This is collected only when you send a message, and only from the tab the panel is open beside. Nothing is collected from other tabs, and nothing is collected while the panel is closed.

The following are never read, stored or typed by Butter: password and file fields, card and one-time-code fields, and fields named as card, bank, code or identity numbers.

This information is used to answer your message and to carry out the actions you asked for. It is kept in your conversation history in the Service and in a page view log that we use to troubleshoot the extension, and it is processed under the same rules as your other workflow and usage data (see Section 3), including the Pro / Paid distinction in Section 3.3. It is not sold, not shared with third parties except the service providers in Section 4.1, and not used for any purpose unrelated to your requests.

The extension itself stores no account credentials. Signing in happens within the HumanIn.Ai Service, which the panel displays.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

3.1 Operating the Service

• Creating and managing user accounts
• Executing workflows
• Providing customer support
• Processing payments
• Enforcing usage limits and plan restrictions

3.2 Improving and Developing the Product (Primary Purpose)

A core purpose of data collection is to improve HumanIn.Ai.

• Improving workflow reliability and execution

• Designing new features and improvements
• Optimizing user experience and system performance

3.3 Training, Analysis, and Research

Free Plan Users

For users on free plans, we may use workflow data, usage data, and related metadata to:

• Analyze usage patterns
• Improve product functionality
• Train internal models, systems, or heuristics used to enhance the Service

This data may be aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized where appropriate, but may still include workflow-level insights.

Pro / Paid Users

For users on paid or Pro plans:

• Your workflow data will not be used for training internal models
• We may still process your data strictly as necessary to:

  • Ensure security and reliability
  • Diagnose errors you explicitly request support for

This distinction is intentional and enforced as part of our product design.

3.4 Legal, Security, and Compliance

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not guarantee long-term data retention. You are responsible for backing up any critical workflows or data.

Page content collected through the Butter browser extension is kept in your conversation history and in the page view log until it is removed; you can ask us to delete it under Section 7.

• Encryption where appropriate
• Secure infrastructure practices

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
